The road is a dangerous place. Out in the wilds, it's only a matter of time before you have to circle the wagons and put up a fight.
*Blood on the Trail* makes travel an exciting part of your campaign again and fleshes out your fearful fantasy setting. It gives you a set of easy-to-use travel mechanics to add to your adventure, and three different and increasingly dangerous highwaymen to encounter out in the wilds -- each of them a real threat, with a clear personality and backstory. It's ready to pick up and play.
It takes inspiration from legends like Robin Hood, the Westerns that I used to watch every weekend as a kid, and also from our generous patrons.
Following the successful Kickstarter campaign, this edition is a wagonful of wonders:
- New travel rules and mechanics such as a table of complications that you face on the road Plenty of adventure hooks to bring story, stress and gore to journeying 
- A host of NPCs to expand the adventure and flesh out your party if you're low on numbers 
- Over 30 new magical items and weapons for you to treasure 
- Three adventures against different and increasingly dangerous Knights of the Road: the smouldering Black Thorn, Captain Green and his Wet Bandits, and the legendary Robin Bloodbreast. Each one has a history, warning signs, stat blocks and tactics to help you as DM 
- Plus, you have the option of playing as the bandits yourself. 
- JPEG battlemaps from "Snowy's Maps"
